My First Business

WITH NAEEM PARVEZ

A podcast with lessons from business mentors that you never had

WHY I STARTED THIS PODCAST

Portrait of Naeem Parvez

I am a new (and sometimes utterly clueless) business owner. My full time entrepreneurial journey only spans a couple of years, and I realize I could use all the help that I can get.

Not coming from a family of business minded people, and being surrounded by friends that are climbing the corporate ladder, I’ve lacked inspiration (for which I’ve usually turned to books, podcasts, etc). I’ve lacked the wisdom that I need to face the day-to-day, month-to-month, eon-to-eon challenges of running and growing my business.

I learn best from people and their stories. So I started seeking out mentors that can guide me, and to unlock something inside me.

That’s what this podcast is about – I am squeezing out the stories and the wisdom of those that come on the show. These are entrepreneurs that have been-there-done-that, and have battle scars to prove it.

I figure I can learn from their successes, and avoid the mistakes that they’ve made, so that I may build a business that I’m proud of.
